I'm just going to add: The Turks are not the Mongols. Not to mention the Mongols are much further east than the Turks yet. Most Turkic tribes now will be out in Kazakhstan down to harassing Afghanistan and dicking around maybe in Cumania.

Mongols came from Mongolia. Which is to say: they're not Turks and depending on tribe may be either closely related to Siberian tribes. Buryats are not Turks.
