And I think a good question is: why should they be [i]allowed[/i] to, as you say, not cut off completely? They act as if they have the power to decide what they do and don't want, to cherry pick, to keep benefits and rid themselves of negatives, with impunity. It doesn't, and shouldn't, work that way. Why should the rest of the UK be stuck supporting Scotland if they want to prance off into the sunset and only benefit themselves? Fuck that noise.
