History: Roberts was a navigator on a British merchantman captured by pirates. The pirates asked anyone serving on the merchantman to join them, and Roberts jumped at the chance for more money, less work, and better rum. After serving for several months, the ship's captain was killed, and Roberts was shocked to find the position offered to him. Roberts began a spree that found him terrorizing sea lanes from the Carribean to Africa. Now, he's joined up with Sparrow, ready to wreak havoc on any ship that comes within reach.
