Kaiden chewed on his lip in thought, listening to her. He understood the feeling of hating the power of emotions. While he wasn't a true empath in nature, emotions did effect him on a small level and he always had trouble keeping his own under control. Knowing this small frustration he empathized with her and how she must be feeling, going through something similar but on a much, much larger scale. When she stood up, Kaiden looked up to her for a moment then rose as well, slinging his backpack over his shoulder. "You know, those with stronger powers that seem to be out of control at times, have the most potential." This was something his dad had told him paired with the stories of the school. Jean came to mind. When Kalinda said her last words Kaiden shook his head slightly. "I don't mind. I like listening to you talk. I like getting to know you better. I wish I could be of more help, but at least I can listen. You can tell me anything you want to get off of your chest."
