I'm just exhausted, hurting, stressed and just generally wanting this year to be over. 

It's been perhaps the worst of my life. No, that's not true. The worst of my adult life in any case. 

I'm just tired of putting my all in and getting nothing for it.

What is happening? If we're doing the academy gets attacked thing, I think it would be best to wait for the next RP day. Too late in the day for the students to notice that the teachers are gone now.
