Perhaps it was a vain hope but if that flower was there than the worse of their problems would be solved. Blizzard wouldn't think about what they would do if it wasn't there. He had made himself comfortable after a starting a fire, basking in the light of the warm flames and resting his wings. He accepted the offered fish with vigor and waited patiently for Ava to finish her own meal. Humans ate so gingerly. If they were savoring every bite than they had the wrong idea- after all they cooked all the flavorable juices out of their meat before eating it. It seemed that as soon as he dozed off she was scratching at his scales and he stretched long, like a cat- noticing she was already on his back he took flight. The first few minutes of this next span of flying was spent at a sluggish pace as Blizzard woke himself back up and after a short time he was picking up the pace once more. They were on the last stretch of their journey (before the return trip that was) and he was ready to prove that they were more than capable. This time he would do his best not to overdo it... how embarrassing that was, getting captured. They had already wasted a graveous amount of time due to that storm and he didn't want anymore problems between them and that flower.
