Guild: Dark Horses (recruiting, shoot me a PM if you're interested) History: In contrast to the majority of players post-announcement, Clarence felt a thrill of excitement. Like, he knew he should feel bad, or scared, or at least disappointed. However, it was one of the most dramatic things to have ever happened to him, and he thrived. He started out as a solo player, following the help book from the beta testers to the letter, and having lots of previous experience in MMO games he leveled up relatively quickly. He drifted back and forth between a handful of guilds, but generally would quickly grow bored of level-clearing, preferring to take on solo quests that allowed him to explore and level up his skills. He also didn't really like sharing quest items. Regardless of his miserly ways, Clarence played really well with others, and was valued by his friends for his cooking skills and his quick wit. Of course he wanted to clear the game eventually, but not being particularly driven he wasn't in any hurry. In fact, he suspected early on that he may have been happier in this virtual life than his real one, which he hardly ever talks about to anyone. Recently, the last guild he was in broke up over player disagreements, and he has been trying to start his own, not for any reason other than to pass the time and get acquainted with other players.
