I almost didn't post this, it's always nerve-wracking joining new communities,,,

I've done chat RPs and para RP's on other sites with forums, but this is the first time I've ever been on a site entirely dedicated to roleplaying.

Things I like to RP include
- magical girls (original setting or madoka)
- homestuck
- pokemon
- original fantasy settings (esp. if it has wizards and/or vampires; I also have a soft spot for magic school settings)

and really just anything not in a realistic setting that sounds interesting and isn't from a fandom I'm not in. I'd consider myself in the casual range; poorly constructed characters/plots and bad writing bugs me, but I don't have what it takes to bang out paragraphs of prose for advanced RP's. I'll probably get around to starting some of my own RP's soon, I tend to have a surplus of ideas for them.
