My character, a newly promoted Rear-Admiral will be captaining the Vigilance. I will also be playing several other officers in the command staff just to move the roleplay along and steer it [i](literally)[/i] in the right direction.

Just haven't gotten around to making my character sheets just yet.

That was the plan, but there still wouldn't be much use for them in a space environment, other than to board other ships and ferry the Landers around. You can't really provide adequate strategic gunship support in a fully enclosed ship or colony.
