Meruin had got the information she wanted from the principal. As she walked to the library, she pondered about this school's system. Theoretically, it was a good system that promoted competitive learning, but when put into practice, it turned the students into mindless brawlers that struggled for power and reputation. 

Well, perhaps that was her own bias. She hadn't been here more than a month, so it was too soon to just be judging the system like that. Still, whether it was effective or not she would do her best to avoid a fight here. She was here to learn, she firmly reminded herself.
