Steve wasn't stupid. He knew exactly what Jay was referring to. It grated his nerves, but for once he passed by it. He knew with Laurie here and her time sight thingy, Jay wouldn't try anything. But what concerned him most was the look on Laurie's face when he asked about how long he was out. "Hey... Laurie?" he asked with a gentle tone but a very serious look on his face "What. Happened? Please... tell me". He was practically begging, shuffling carefully toward her. A thousand negative situation plagued his mind. Most prominent being... where were his other friends? And were they okay? She opened her mouth to talk, but before she could, they heard something from the hallway. "A scream?!" Steve asked, alarmed, his previous line of inquiry forgotten as the three burst out of the medical bay. Well... two burst out. Steve was still having problems walking, and stumbled out, but managed to stay standing. What they saw shocked them. Several students had become intangible and were stuck in walls, the floor, and the ceiling. "What the..." Steve murmured, reaching out to try and help one of the kids, but sure enough, his hand went right though her. "Please..." she sobbed out, clearly terrified "Please, help me". "Shhh, shhh. It's okay. It's gonna be okay" he tried comforting her "Listen. I'm gonna go find Dr. McCoy. He should know what's going on. I promise, we'll get you back to normal, okay?". Apparently it worked, because the girl managed to stop crying, but the fear was still heavy in her eyes. Not wasting any time, Steve turned to Jay "Hey, where's Beast?" Jay didn't respond, probably focusing on the rest of the compound, Steve guessed "Hey?" Still no answer. "HEY, JAY!" he shouted, finally getting the guy's attention "Beast. Where is he?" "Oh, um... He's in the gym. Why do you-?" "Thanks, I gotta go. Watch them" he cut Jay off and reached for the overhead light, focusing on the electric current running through the compound. Luckily, he was familiar with it's set-up and could sense the large bundle of electricity that was the gym. His vision suddenly tunneled as his body turned into pure electricity and merged with the current running through the cables. Following the path towards where he felt the gym to be, he managed to get there in about 10 seconds. Meanwhile, in the gym, a lone lightbulb began to glow a bright blue as Steve untangled himself from the current and reform his body. Unfortunately he forgot one thing... the gym lights were rather high off the ground. And he plummeted to his death... nah, I'm kidding. He just hit the ground really hard, ironically landing right at the furry blue feet of Beast. He slowly sat up cradling his head, taking in a sharp intake of breath "Ooooowww... my ass" he mumbled, looking up at the face of his old science teacher. "Oh! Dr. McCoy! Perfect! Listen, there's a bunch of kids that are stuck in walls over by the medical bay. They need help quick, and I have no clue what to do. They're see-through and intangible" Steve quickly reported, pointing at a kid who was showing the same symptoms right behind Beast "Just like that kid... and that one and that one and... wait... what the hell?". It had finally dawned... this was bigger than just the medical bay "Oh, shit..."
