I used to grow...6 varieties of tomatoes, no pesticides. Also grew pole and snap bans as well as raspberries, potatoes, chocolate mint, dill, strawberries, and sunflowers.

But, yellow pears are far more vulnerable to bruising than other varieties as they are not overly thick skinned. But, when fully ripe, they basically explode with juices in your mouth when you bite them.
