Freija "You work really hard, eh? Well. You mentioned you'd be taking the magic class. Not like it's an option anyway...I'd assume the headmistress would want all of her students a little familiarised with the art, though I'm still new here enough not to know how much things work. Anywho, it would be quite interesting to watch you work in my class, then, if you're really all that hardworking as you say." her lips curved up in a small smile and she almost purred at the thought, though her eyes ran mental checks on the boy to try and find out some things just by his appearance. He certainly had a thing for...heavy armour. It was strange watching his lanky frame carry it all, though. She dismissed it with a little shake of her head. Anybody could be a warrior, and she was in no place to stand as being of any help on the battlefield. She was pretty useless without her magical abilities, anyway. His following smirk made her eyebrow rise a little in a playful, sarcastic manner as well, and by the time she was done, she spoke softer, almost patronising to a degree. "I'm sure you have some sort of talent to be accepted in that class. Something you mightn't even know about. We'll see if it brings out anything in you. Say...if you survive long enough." And here she laughed, a sweet, melodious little sound contrasting with the darker shades of the joke at hand. "Err...you probably will though, I mean. How hard could it be?" She found herself enjoying her new conversational partner, though most people at the school already seemed pretty hardened by war to her. Or by classes. There was a solemness about the air that was almost tangible. Everyone seemed quiet, in wait for something. Living deep in the sheltered Elven lands for so long left her a little bit unaware of what might have been on their minds. Regardless, she walked on, soft thuds against the ground of two pairs of feet. From the corner of her eye she noticed a bit of a commotion involving a lot of teenage girls, and an older figure, and two boys she assumed were students. She'd seen one of them before, with Third, and wondered just how he'd got himself into a fight so fast. She silently nodded with the words of the man standing over them in his bright armour. "Reckless." she murmured to herself, before she tilted her chin up to the sky to notice the colours begin to change already, as the time of day changed into the next phase. It would be time soon, and she'd heard that there'd be a welcoming banquet in the evening as a ceremony to make everyone feel at home. She needed that. She'd like to go. "I don't even know your name, actually, lad. But I'd assume...you've been here longer than I have? You certainly don't seem as enthusiastic or lost as a first year. And seemed pretty comfortable with Third back there, though not James as much. I would like if you'd accompany me to the banquet this evening. And if not, well...atleast show me where it is? Hah, I really need to familiarise myself with this place. Sometime, sometime. It's been a long day already."
