Isaac nods and says, "I figured as much. That's why I figured it'd be better for you if you physically learned instead of having all of that ingrained into your mind over night. There were just too many unknowns doing it this way." Even though he says that, he wraps his arm around Hayley and gives her an encouraging smile, saying, "Oh, well, you're a tough girl. I know you can handle it." Giving her temple a kiss, he then removes his arm and picks up his fork. Using the edge, he cuts a piece of the pancake, sticks it with his fork, and eats it. "At least it didn't mess with your ability to make good pancakes," he says with a smile.
