Phoebe knew the instant Pamela landed on the academy grounds. There was a subtle shift in the plants, reacting to her presence, something Phoebe had noticed when she was with her mother. It was almost like a child reaching for their mothers hands, to wrap one small pudgy hand around a finger. It had been a few hours since classes had finished, and Phoebe was just outside her dorm, thinking, but the minute there was that shift, she looked up, rising. She knew where she was. She wouldn't have gone through the main gate. No. But Phoebe went that way, and sure enough, she saw Nicholas "if you are waiting for her, she isn't there. Feel the plants. She's at my garden. Only one camera there. And she likes that spot too" she didn't stop to see if Nicholas followed her. She just continued walking. Part of her wondered if she should bring Ryan, go back and get him, but last time....no. Not quite ready for that again. "Do not follow, Flood. She wouldn't like that. And she's more powerful then me, and wouldn't mind beating you up some. She'll know if you try and hide too. Last time that happened, she kissed away Anthony's memory of her. I'd rather not see that again. It was disturbing" She kept to her same walking pace, but as she neared her garden, it because a bit faster. And she saw her step out from behind the same tree, which she had curved around her. "Phoebe" there was such joy in her mothers voice that Phoebe laughed and hugged her. "Mum" she stepped aside quickly though, "I tried to teach him some, but he feels neglected and I guess he called you" Pamela was looking ahead, waiting. She went to take a step forward, but stopped. She looked tonPhoebe and she smiled. she probably feels neglected to, and yet, she still cares for others, still cares for the unknown sibling she has, and still puts others before herself. Her strong relationship with plants hasn't stopped her having a normal life. Well, as normal as it can get in anycase. Did she get the best of both of us, Bruce? Or is this the result of living in an orphanage? And Nicholas...I've done wrong by both of them. But Phoebe had a strong foundation. Nicholas...I don't know what I can do to help, if anything. But I will do my best. Just keep him safe. Keep him away from Nicholas, and don't let it known I'm here, please Bruce. she pondered about herself. If she'd had a better histriy, if she hadn't gotten her abilities the way she did, would she be what she was today? Not even what she was today....but what she had been. A villain. she only started a life of crime to attain sufficient funds to find a location to be alone with her plants, undisturbed by humanity. That still seemed like a good reason to be a criminal, but now.... There was Phoebe and Nicholas. And Bruce. The only one she'd ever had trouble control. That still puzzled her to this day. No doubt it would continue puzzling her forever. She chuckled softly im still more human the plant. And that's a surprise there. She looked ahead, and waited for Nicholas.
