She is a clever, kind, and genuinely caring person. Lucy is passionate for literature and she's also in the process of writing her own novel about her adventures with Fairy Tail (she does not like talking to anyone about it, because she finds it somewhat embarrassing). She also likes shopping, cooking and assertive men. Lucy, kind to her Celestial Spirits, refuses to use them as shields or think of them as such. She fights alongside her Spirits and treats them as friends. The female cares greatly for her Spirits and will also go to great lengths to give them happiness, even at the cost of her life. Although, Lucy is, in most cases, cowardly and easily scared, she has no problems with fighting and would happily stand up to danger. Even if she ends up getting injured in the process. She does not get very excited about fighting and is not quick to resort to violence as the solution. However, she does admit that being around her guildmates is really fun. Being a Celestial Mage, Lucy always keeps her promises. She gives her all for the sake of her guild and friends.

Born into the Heartfilia family, one of the most wealthiest conglomerate families of Fiore, Lucy had a fairly good life. It was until her mother, Layla Heartfilia's death did the blonde's life feel like hell. She had an estranged relationship with her workaholic father, Jude Heartfilia, and she felt neglected with zero love to be received and no actual family members to spend time with her; though the servants of her home did watch her as Jude spent most of his time cooped up in his office or someplace else. She ran away from home 6 years after having enough of his attitude (she was 10 at the time her mother had passed). A year later, she met Natsu Dragneel, a fire dragon slayer and a blue exceed that was called Happy. She joined her dream guild, Fairy Tail, and went on many journey's with them.

[b]Celestial Magic:[/b] The magical ability to summon Celestial Spirits using gate keys. She says the specifically needed incantation while holding out a key and out pops a spirit that she calls.
[b]Force Gate Closure:[/b] The ability to force a gate of her spirit, prompting them to return to the Spirit World.
[b]Multiple Summons:[/b] The ability to open more than one gate.
[b]Recompense Summoning:[/b] A techinique in where the Celestial Mage can simultaneously open three or more gates as well as the Celestial Spirit King, who is the strongest out of all the other Celestial Spirits.
[b]Urano Metria:[/b] The area around her target becomes full of star-like lights, followed shortly after by a dark blanket reminiscent of a night sky. All of the star-like lights explode at the same time, causing heavy damage upon the target. 
[b]Water Barrier:[/b] Lucy generates a powerful barrier of water, capable of blocking powerful explosions.
