It always surprised him, how the Geth were somehow that efficient. This one already knew his name, alias and... It referred to itself as 'I'. "Did you... Just refer to yourself as 'I'?" He asked quietly, keeping quiet for a long moment after that, before they reached the dock's elevators and he spoke up again. "98.77% danger is quite a high number, don't you think, Phalanx?" He asked, pressing a few buttons, making the door close and the elevator move. "Do you think we'll be successful?" Ken's question was valid. Phalanx was a Geth, and they had really amazing calculating abilities, not to mention their unique points of view, which were always objective in contrast to an organic's opinions. As it walked and calculated the Creator's reaction, it was not surprised that Ken-Creator was a bit shocked at its wording. Most were and tended to get nervous. Most likely, the younger Creator wasn't fully aware of the possible left over of Reaper Code. Nor was unused to any Geth that didn't refer itself as we due to multiple software intelligence in one mobile platform. "Affirmative. I am Phalanx, for I am one yet many. One who wishes for justice. Pleasant to meet you, Ken'Koris vas Yaska-Creator." It replied without hesitation, as if nothing was wrong. There really wasn't but it also didn't mind questions it will probably receive. Creators especially knew how Geth usually acted, while other races may not catch the difference. Stepping into the elevator, the AI platform shifted, keeping a firm grip on the box as it watched the Creator dial in the buttons that would lead to their destination. At the other question, Phalanx only took a few moments before responding. "Wrex is a reasonable Krogan due to Shepard-Commander's influence, but like many races will defend their own. Krogan tend to do it very violently. Peace in the galaxy is considered unlikely and inprobable. Mission success is calculated to be near Shepard-Commander mission with possibility of several enemy targets and hidden hostiles. Many deaths have a high probability to be unavoidable." Phalanx responded, most likely giving little hope to its new comrade, until continuing. "...I calculate though that if every ally target walk in their own path to do what is correct, then the impossible may become probable. Like Shepard-Commander's accomplishments." It finished before turning its flashlight gaze toward the Creator. Phalanx was different. Ken knew this now. It felt differently, it spoke differently. Something about him was... Superior than other Geth. But back to the present, Phalanx had given his view on their task. Not a very positive view, but Ken knew it was factual. Spectres didn't usually take walks in the park with their missions, after all. "There's a lot at stake. I hope our little group is the right one for this mission. I can't help but doubt things... Especially with our own Captain Galen. I'm not sure he's the best for the job. Who's to know if he's not going to get drunk before an important mission?" He said, shrugging as he looked at Phalanx, his eyes meeting its flashlight gaze. "I've read up on Legion so-" He cut himself off right then, remembering how sensitive such information was when dealing with the Geth. He had no idea how such things worked. Maybe letting them know there used to be such an advanced Geth so many years ago was dangerous. Nobody could know these days, and he didn't feel like screwing something up. "Forget I said anything." "Anyway, I believe we'll do fine if we have a diplomatic type on board. If Wrex still leads the Krogan, we could think something up. Though we may need to pull some strings or hack into some places to find out what the Salarians are doing in Skal'kus." Analyzing what one could through a Creator Mask, Phalanx calculated the expression of this Creator's face. Surprise and thoughtful. But not really fear. That was good. Though it was slightly surprising that the AI unit was not questioned further on the subject. Creators, Salarians, and humans tended to take quite interest for different reasons. At the doubts on the Commander, the metal around the glass eye moved ever slightly, as if thoughtful. "Although it is still a mystery for this one why organics poison themself, Galen-Commander seems to have lost his path. But calculating his reaction to the information of the making of the Genophage, a probability occurs that the Turian will surprise the crew." The dark blue Geth responded, giving its own analysis on the subject before instantly watching the Creator at the mere mention of Legion. Though, the young Creator seemed hesitant and waved it off. Indeed, many Geth have forgotten Legion due to the shutdown... Very few remember anything before then. All they knew was Legion was important. Though they didn't understand exactly why. "Legion was a similarly built platform traveling with Shepard-Commander. Held consensus and reacted like many Geth but was built for communication. Acquired valid information and experience on mission. Was dismantled during Reaper invasion on Homeworld Rannoch to give fellow Geth full intelligence. Many have forgotten. Records saved." Phalanx imputed in casually, the metal around its eye ever so slightly lowering, with a slight almost unnoticeable tremble. Phalanx knew him well, respected him and kept his memory safe within its hard drive. Moving on to the last bit of conversation, the Geth looked at the closed doors. "Diplomacy is the preferred manner. Fighting Krogans not a pleasant experience. Hacking is likely, I specialize in the field, will just need to acquire a terminal target or enemy omni tool." It spoke before the doors opened to reveal the Normandy SR3. Examining the outside of the ship, the mobile platform slowly walked toward it. "Normandy SR3 appears compatible." It was a slight relief when the elevator stopped and the doors opened. Not to say that Ken was afraid, he was just getting wary of the Geth. It knew a lot more than others, and while that could be a good thing... It could also mean bad. His eyes went wide as he laid them on the Normandy. Its size appeared to have been increased, its colors pure and shiny. He couldn't help but grin and walk out of the elevator, observing the Normandy in its stand by state, and then speaking up. "It indeed appears VERY compatible." He said with a laugh, before motioning for Phalanx to come with him as he stepped into the airlock. "So a Geth and a Quarian walked into a ship..." Examining the new Spectre ship before looking at the Creator as he entered the airlock, walking in with him when he motioned for it. By body language, the Creator seemed a bit more wary when noticing the Geth unit apparent difference. It was not surprising, but Phalanx calculated that this one would more or less relax after some time. At least, that was more of the pleasant outcome rather than others. At the Creators words Phalanx looked at him once more, the blue glass eye glinting a bit as it processed the new information. "Affirmative, not uncommon on Rannoch." It said before pausing as if realizing something. "Unless this is what organics call a 'joke' correct? Calculating.... So a Quarian and a Geth walk into a ship, the Geth asks if a flashlight is needed to proceed. The Quarian answers by saying 'Nope, use your head.'" It spoke as it tried to tell a joke in its synthetic voice. Watching as the ship scanned them and sterilized them, Phalanx lifted its head a little as a feminine synthetic voice was heard. "That may have been a poor joke, Geth-Unit Phalanx." said the synthetic female voice. "My name is SADI, the Normandy SR3's AI. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Be sure to obtain a room and set your belongings there. After you are finished mingling and setting aside your belongings, further mission details will be set in the meeting room." SADI spoke. That was too great. To be told a joke by a Geth, in their monotonous voices and lack of sense of humour! Ken'Koris found it hard to contain his laugh and just burst out, stepping into the ship and earning a few strange looks as he did so. "That was a great joke, tho-" Immediately as soon as he noticed the looks, he straightened up and stopped laughing, looking at Phalanx and saluting him. "See you around, Phalanx. And SADI." He said, before walking off. headed towards the noisiest place in the ship to see if he could find a room for himself there. Being a Quarian Soldier often involved him spending time in Flotilla ships, the most crowded and noisy places he knew. After years of service, he had gotten accustomed to the noise, and actually began to like it.
