Those are interesting ways to evolve actually, if we exclude physical training. There's also the possibility of becoming like Barragan and make the aging abilities long-range and even deadlier. Though that's a bit too strong for my taste. Thanks for the suggestions :D 

You're pretty spot on the theory my friend, though I'll expand for better explaining of my point of view. The disease never really affected time until it was used for study in a project to handle radioactive waste decay. So through many theories regarding physics and biology Fiorella became able to pretty much apply senescence on atoms, as you like to refer matter to, and use the time powers. So yeah I accept the theory you're offering, since it's pretty much the one offered though worded differently. Seeing as matter = Atoms. 

I like the realism you're seeking here, it makes things fun to share and discuss eventually. Beats arguing over BUT MY POWER DOES BOOOOMMM. 

So I can have Fiorella break out and eventually meet these good people, aye?
