Personality: 
Gehrhart Is a reserved and austere man who tries to keep his emotions hidden but tends to do a poor job of it. In reality Gehrhart is actually quite friendly and quick to trust and a terrible judge of character. He firmly believes in the mission of the Dragonslayers and has taken to searching for and training potential future Dragonslayers. He is a loyal and steadfast friend but if he feels someone is unworthy of his friendship he will be far less welcoming. He can also be rather stubborn and set in his ways especially when it comes to things related to Dragonslayers.

Brief Backstory:
Viktor Gehrhart Has been a Dragonslayer for a rather long time, in that time he has seen friends fall and great beasts destroyed. He has felt the familiar rush of combat and that strangely empty feeling it left when it ended. He has lain eyes what The Dragons have done, smelled the smoke and seen the lines of now homeless and hopeless people forced to leave the place of their forefathers. He can't remember much from before his training except that he always felt like he had been missing something. When the woman in the scratched and worn armor had come to his village and taken him under her wing he had finally felt right. Now it is he who walks into the villages and finds that one child, the larger one who moves with an unexpected grace despite their size. It's the eyes though the look in their eyes that tells him they are ready to be trained. It's a look of longing, a desire to meet their fullest potential, and then he takes them under his wing and helps them do just that.

Abilities:
Gehrhart has mastered the use of his shield and blade in conjunction. His still impressive strength allows him to weather the most ferocious of blows with his shield and enables him to plunge his longsword deep into the black heart of his prey. His method of battle is to provoke his opponent and outlast their blows until they tire or make a mistake at which point he strikes and capitalizes on their weakness.

It has bore the brunt of many a blow and turned aside both blade and claw. It has been granted the ability to negate the deadly breath of a dragon protecting its wielder from torrents of flame and blasts of electricity.
