Sorry, I'm just trying to see the limits of what Kuhaku can and can't do. Plus, I'm bored and when I get bored I get very chatty.I'm rather self-conscious of it, to be honest. I'll be quiet now.
If it's any consolation, I'm sure if we do somehow get together and do a combo-wombo collab, there shan't be much that we can't do to take down the big mech. If you don't mind, I"m going to try to list Gren's strengths and abilities for you to utilize if you have any plans (Gods know that I don't). The God Eater:
Terror Form - High Frequency Chainsaw mode that allows Gren to cut through any physical object within a (short) time. Weakness includes the difficulty of using it as a hack-and-slash weapon; it needs to be pressed against the foe for maximum damage and risks kickback if used haphazardly. Not usually a problem with "Softer" (Read: Fleshy) targets, though solid ones like the mech might provoke a kickback. However once Gren get's his hooks into the surface, there's little that can be done to remove it until it's finish tearing through it's target. And the best way to set this up is using The God Eater Terror Form's Hydraulic Axe mode to hack indents into the metal to hook the teeth of the God Eater into and tear into the target. Powerful, but needs to combo and set up for maximum potential. Can use the Dust in The God Eater to give the Terror form increase armor penetration. Destroyer Form - Long-Range Gatling Mode with a functional range of 1500 feet (That is to say, the bullet doesn't drop until around that range. Whether or not it was flying strait out of the barrel is another matter entirely). Unlike most sniper rifles that try to hit a target from that far once, The God Eater in it's Destroyer Form will hit a target and anything around it from that range many many times. What it lacks in precision accuracy it makes up for in shear volume. Bullets are of a 30mm design, meant to shear the armor off of armored vehicles like water shearing the flesh off your skin; at very high velocities. Additionally, the Destroyer Form is capable of firing in a what's known as it's Kinetic Rocket Mode, that is to say that it can fire high-explosive rockets using the shear force of the impact alone to do heavy damage, followed by the explosion. Unfortunately the rockets themselves lack much in the way of shrapnel, relying on strategic impact to do make use of the explosion. It should be noted in terms of applied, while the explosion from the rocket is strong enough to flatten most grimm to a monomolecular paste, the impact from the rocket is much greater. Lastly, The God Eater's Destroyer Form can employ it's Dust reserves to create a napalm flower thrower, coating targets in a burning dust-infused semi-solid (It's shot out a liquid than quickly hardens into a solid, burning all the while). Causes Damage over time as well as lowering physical defense and possible psychological effects of being on fire.
Gren:
Gren alone is a formidable opponent due to his shear size and strength. But while his physical attributes are terrifying alone, he is also a thinking person. While his solutions typically utilizing his apparently great assets, he is capable of complex thoughts when the need arises. To that end, he does have an extensive knowledge on machinery including robots, and he likely knows of a way to forcibly subdue the machine if offensive might is not enough. He also knows how to dismantle the machine by virtue of having an idea of how it was made. His helmet, and by extension his armor, also provides his already hardy durability an extra layer of solid defense as well as mild sensory abilities. His helmet gives him a HUD which he can use to monitor the statistics of his body as well contain information on his enemies and other observations. Think "Enemy Scan". He can also do this on his allies, though due to the current limitations of his HUD he can only get Aura Readings, thus allowing him to monitor their health and energy. Gren has a natural weight of 300lbs, 330 in armor. And he does have the strength to move this weight, and with startling speed given. Granted, he won't compare to other lighter, more speed based fighters, but the fact that he's capable of mobility greater than a walk allows him to position himself with such speed for his size that it may catch his opponents off guard.
Friction Semblance:
Gren's Ace in the Hole, sort to say. Even with his impressive weight, his weapon's recoil can cause him to step back during sustained fire. For this reason, his Friction Semblance allows him to remain indomitable against any force no matter how strong, even if he stood at ground zero of one of his own explosions. Conversely, he can remove the Friction from himself to allow him to gain an astonishingly amount of speed comparable to some speedster types, but without the secondary reaction control. This can be a boon when he needs to cover ground in a strait way or become a faunas missile, allowing him to send his 330 pound mass of metal and beast in the direction he needs to go, with the raw durability to survive the potential impact. Gren can also produce a "Zone" around him with a 30ft radius of himself where he can channel the power of his Semblance through whatever he is making physical contact with. He can chose anything making contact within the Zone to be affected by his Semblance, either to be rooted to the spot or unable to my physical contact within the Zone. However they must be making contact with whatever Gren is making his Zone; if he does so on say, the ground, than anyone making contact on the ground around him will be affected. Entirely useless against opponents out of his reach, more so against flying types.
