In China the women are forced to have an abortion, I don't see how that's any better, women's rights are still being oppressed in either case. The mothers don't have a choice, they are pressured either by culture, their husbands, or the government. It's the worst sort of oppression that forces a mother to kill her own child just because of it's not the preferred sex.
