verona began taking him up the stairs, creaking with every step. 
"i should fix these stairs sometime, theyve never creaked before..."
she held his hand tightly, blushing as he gently squeezed back. 
" im sorry if im making this awkward for you, im not used to you actually being... there.."
the thought of this made her blush slightly more as they walked into the room she was taking him to.
he opened the door, and walked in, sitting on the bed.
she patted the spot next to her, signaling him to sit down with her.

Karne and his dragon landed a little ways from the house, as he jumped off the back of the foul beast.
he sniffed the air, it reeked of human and demon scent.
he looked over to see what looked like a human with a demonic hint of scent walking towards him.
