She can use this to power electronic devices, but can also use it as a weapon, releasing extremely powerful electric blasts. The voltage and amperage of her blasts can be controlled by her, allowing her to directly control the force and damage of her strikes. Lightning moves at light speed (obviously) and is extremely hot, so she can deal out quite a bit of damage. She can also move at near light speeds. When Cal fires electricity, a loud boom like thunder echoes through the air. The larger the bolt, the louder the sound. The electricity changes in color with her mood. Cal is immune to electricity. Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Namely, rubber, or other insulators. If an opponent is wearing insulated clothing, Cal is useless against them. Water can also thwart Cal, but in a different way. Normally, water is useful for Cal, as enemies standing in it get fried extra-crispy, but if she herself is standing in or is covered in water, she runs the risk of frying herself. Sometimes, when she is getting pissed, electricity will begin to crackle in the air around her, bouncing around her hair and fingertips. This is a pretty good sign to either calm her down or get the hell away. Appearance: Cal stands at about 5'2 and is rather lanky with thin limbs and a lack of visible muscle. Her eyes are a piercing blue color, something that came about when her powers emerged, and her hair has been bleached a shocking white color. Not pictured is her abundance of tattoos and piercings all over her body. Her style of clothing can be considered a mix of street and punk, she just calls it comfy. Personality Characteristics: On the outside Cal likes to act like the bad ass chick she is. She refuses to take shit from anyone who is of lower rank then her. Cal is extremely foul-mouthed (except around children and the elderly) and has the tendency to go into berserk rages. Cal isn't the smartest person on the planet, and isn't good at quick comebacks, rather thinking with flying fists. Despite this rough and tough exterior, Cal is not without her own personal weaknesses. She would never hurt a child or a lady, and would actually go out of her way to protect someone weaker then her. She also harbors a very dark inner secret that she refuses to tell anyone. This secret is extremely mentally taxing for her, and can cause her to physically freeze if she is reminded of it. Cal wishes she could be loving and soft, but mostly comes off with a 'leave me alone' sort of vibe. She doesn't like asking for help, and has trouble putting complete trust in someone. This often leads to her keeping to herself, or lying. Cal is also trapped between being an adult and being a kid, and being thrown into a strange new life doesn't help at all. She has little to no life experience outside of high school. And knowing the Pythagorean Theron isn't helping her much. History: Cal actually didn't mind her home life. She grew up in a small town, where everyone knew everybody, with her mother, father, and her older sister, Diana. Unlike most siblings, Diana and Cal got along rather well. Cal never really cared for school, going through her punk and rebellious stage throughout high school. She began to show powers right after her seventeenth birthday. Cal panicked, not knowing how to conceal her powers. She turned to her big sister, who tried to help her control the electricity. This didn't work for long, as her parents soon found out. They frantically called the authorities, turning in their own daughter. Diana tried to defend Cal, saying she wasn't a danger to anyone. But her parents insisted, saying it was for her own good. And maybe they would find a way to get rid of it. When the authorities arrived Cal put up no fight. ”Thunder is good, thunder is impressive; but it is lightning that does the work.”
