While it could have been dumb luck that she guessed that the metahuman populace of Lost Haven would eventually have converged on the source of the demonic invasion, Chris believed that it was not chance. Whatever tech she was using, it goes beyond what he had. Sure, he could track people who had already been tagged with a tracking device, but locating individuals without any prior contact was a totally different beast. Luckily it was in the hands of Archangel. If that technology would fall into the wrong hands, no one, human or metahuman, would be safe. However, Chris pushed that thought to the back of his mind, since this was obviously not the time nor place for those thoughts. There was a demon invasion going on. One problem at a time. Once Chris and Archangel had located Icon, they both began their decent to the ground. While he was approaching the ground, Chris saw that there were a few others with Icon. There was War-Pulse, a metahuman mercenary, in whose activities S.T.R.I.K.E. had some insight. There was also a girl, who was obviously wearing a make-shift costume. "Any ideas on how to close this thing?” Chris heard Icon ask as Chris was almost on the ground. Fortunately for all of them, Archangel had already figured out a solution. And the “bad” news that she had given to Chris was no longer “bad” news because all four of the metahumans, whom she mentioned, were now there. Considering that they only needed three of them, what could go wrong with the four of them? “The gateway, like all energy constructs, is a delicate balance. If we can pump enough energy into it, the construct will be disrupted and fail.” Archangel responded to Icon’s question. “What she said.” Chris tacked onto the end of Archangel’s explanation, hoping not to be outdone by his female “counterpart”.
