When she removes her hand, Issa realized she had grabbed Michael's Wayfinder. She could feel the energy from the Wayfinder, my energy. The energy suddenly flowed the Wayfinder and into her. She now was able to use my weapons and is able to read my spell book. Basically, she had just formed a bond with Michael. Both emotionally, and now magically.
