David watched the entire byplay between Dante and Aiden from a tree a meter or so away. He sighed at both their actions. Aiden for not realizing that his words were less than ideal for a truce talk, and Dante for not giving him the chance to speak regardless. Diplomacy was not one of David's strong points, but he's done it long enough to recognize amateur mistakes when he saw them. He pushed away from the tree with enough force to leave a mark, and landed next to Aiden in a few seconds.
