Lord Solterra has no relation at all to the Overlord except that he took interest in Solterra and may or may not have possibly saw him as a rallying support, which turned out to be the opposite.

The [b]only[/b] reason why Solterra was given the title of Lordship was literally because his blood line came from another royal family from another land (and he also had considerable riches inherited to himself) and that was the only reason why Rone had any sort of first thought to his even existence.

That is why Solterra is a Lord. And that is why he has a chance at the throne.
