So, brief recap: 

War Room is under attack by a band of masked assassins, clad in black, because ninjas. 

They're human in appearance, but have red eyes and ugly fangs. No, they're not vampires. What they are, we will get to eventually. 

Giving them a fatal injury makes them fade away, rather than leave a corpse.

Mundhir's men have not been destroyed; there are hundreds in Baalor's ruins, but the assassins have come seemingly out of nowhere, and a bloody battle is ongoing between them and the assassins. 

Using the chaos of the battle, a group of the assassins have gone directly to the War Room and killed most of the Prince's sworn defenders. 

... so yeah, feel free to splash right into that mess :D
