Yahtzee stared at the cup of ice in his hands once he had taken it. What he had just witnessed had made him speechless. He had never felt like an outcast in his life but that was only because he only ever wanted or needed himself and everyone else was just sort of... there. Now he felt a part of something bigger though. Part of a group that consisted more of just him and Salamander and these people would understand him in ways no one had ever been able to be able to. That though came with it's own feeling of alienation. They may understand him but he knew that tragedy and forged bonds between them that he would never truly be able to share until something just as bad happened to him and he desperately hoped that wouldn't happen. He echoed their toasts hollowly and drank the water earnestly. In the circus he had drunk a mix of water and a powder that could keep him hydrated and energized on fairly little and he wouldn't call freely available water 'pure.' This water was different and he actually felt as safe from lethal bacteria as he drank.

As Yahtzee drank he couldn't pull his thoughts away from the earlier words. Everyone here was unique and powerful. In fact considering his lack of training he considered that it was probably that he was the least skilled here and if he wanted to truly be of value he would have to train hard to improve his skills to the point where he could protect at least himself. "So... uh..." He started saying before trailing off. "Thanks." He eventually said as he glance over to Will who had toasted to him and he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "I was maybe wondering..." He swallowed and looked around. "Could I see more of your powers?" His nervous demeanor seemed to evaporate and gave way to the hopeful excitement of a child with a new toy. At the moment the idea of other people having powers was fascinating to him. "Controlling ice seems cool but what else can you do with it?" It was probably rude to ask like he was but right now he just couldn't hold himself back. "And what about water? And light?" He asked excitedly turning to Will and Phil respectively. "I never though there might be others out there able to do things like me." He said by way of explanation looking around eagerly.
