Something about this. I still don't fully understand to what extent his mind has been altered, though, so maybe it's not him so much as it is the effects of recent events regarding Isabella. Either way, it seems like his short term memory capabilities aren't quite all there anymore to me. 

...I might just be overthinking it, though. It just caught my attention in a strange way is all, so I've been curious for a while.
