1. Isabella tells Aiden, Aiden walks up to David and slits his throat becuase he feels you threaten there relationship. 
2. Aiden is already hostile towards people who try to get inbetween him in Isabella he could Think what your doing as a threat causing him to attack him. 

What's happening is pretty idiotic but that's my opinion.
