Logan looked rather pleased that the dark-haired girl spoke up, ready to give into his demands. He motioned her forward with a slightly more gentle approach than he had shown since they had all arrived at the building, his beady eyes doing a quick once-over on the girl's red cocktail dress before his attention snapped over to the homeless kid. His hardened expression seemed to melt away, if only slightly, as he thought over the boys words. His heart went out to the poor kid, Logan knew what it was like to feel famished, alone, dirty and scared. He had lived a few years homeless himself while traipsing around Canada after his blades met the warm, soft tissue of his girlfriend at the time. Shaking his head, Logan retracted his claws back into his fists and ran his large hand through his disheveled black hair, letting out a soft sigh. "C'mere kid." Logan said after a while. "Whats your name?" The girl in the dress would have to wait. Two of the mutants Xavier had rounded up had already left, and though he put up a front that he didn't care, he was terrified for them. There was a man out there, a man who had a personal vendetta against mutants and slaughtering them like livestock. His eyes moved from the kid to Yukiko, standing there amongst the others with somewhat of a smile on her face. God help the poor bastard that attempted to harm her in anyway. She was the only family Logan had left, figuratively. She trusted him to take care of her, but what if something went wrong, what if he couldn't be there when it really mattered most? After the kid gave him his name, Logan looked back to him and nodded, patting him on the head a bit and then squatted down so that he was more level with the shortest one in the room. "I'm here to help you. So is Charles and Erik. Mutation can be a funny thing, take mine for example." He said putting up his hand for him to see, but he kept the claws inside. "Mutations can change a person for their entire life, and we never asked for it did we? So we are here to help you all embrace your mutation, bring it out and learn to use it to your advantage. Keep you safe from those who wish to harm you..." Logan stood back up, seeming to now tower over the boy. "Why don't we start with you first then. What has the X-gene done to you?"
