I think in a way, their bond has grown stronger. Basically, since my character's appearance changed, this is how it'll be pretty much from now on. Not only is Michael now a bit stronger, but Oblivion is now his main weapon. He can still dual wield, but that's just a minor change in his primary weapon. Since Issa had formed a bond with Michael and had taken in some of his magic, she now can wield Oathkeeper. Basically, Michael is now in what I would like to call his Dark Form.
