The walk is calm and relaxing, at least relatively speaking. A few times Lan and Ran have to stomp on some creeper vines before they can reach Enasi's feet, and ore than once Seishu has to knock back some of the more enthusiastic branches and tree vines as they try to get a hold of the guardian. Each deflection is done with such ease it seems to take no effort at all. For Seishu, it's almost true, even in his injured state the foliage provides very little danger, at least until they come within a hundred yards of the camp. The pace slows at they enter a clearing with chest high grass. The entire group of nightmare denizens go on alert and the minions take in closer posts around the guardians. Leaning in close to Enasi the Nightmare Guardian whispers, “Hold on to my cape, and don't let go. I need to have my hands free for this.” His voice is quite serious and as soon as Enasi complies Seishu's hands come to the ready. As they start across the small field Kaila's head whips this way and that, Lan and Ran spreading apart a bit so they can cover both back and sides. Kaila is the first to spot danger, his hands striking out like lightning to strike down the attacking tendril. Speaking softly Seishu explains. “There is a nightmare here, older than most. It lives beneath the ground, and while it may technically be my underling, it's not smart enough to understand that. It dwells underground, and I've managed to cordon it off to this field, but that still means it hunts freely here.” Before Enasi can ask why they don't go around he adds, “The stuff on either side of the clearing is much worse, so this is actually the safer rout.” He smirks proudly at Kaila's back. “I think I know where they set up camp.” They cross the field without much resistance, George obviously being so well fed that his attacks are feeble at best. Kaila can hear the pride in Seishu's voice and once past that particular danger he glances at his guardian with a soft look in his eyes. It is only a few more paces before they encounter the first signs of the marsh ahead, the path they are walking on becoming thin enough that they have to walk in single file for a little while. Once he is able Seishu holds Enasi waist once more and smiles happily while batting away a large snake vine. Without warning the outer defenses drop from the trees and stand in awe of Seishu, not really believing their eyes. Kaila silences them with a look, motioning them to lead the way into camp. The noises from camp can be heard now, growing quieter as they approach, becoming mostly hisses of conversation. Kaila enters the camp first, Seishu tugging Enasi behind a tree to wait and listen. Once Kaila has the group's attention, all falling silent as he walks to the top of the hill he uses to address the camp. “I am sure you can all feel it now, and I am telling you now not to let it overwhelm you.” His voice is loud without being harsh or sounding like he's yelling. The camp remains silent despite it's growing excitement, the only exception being the whines coming from some of the untrained children. “Your senses to not deceive you, but do not be mistaken, He is not here to stay. He is here because he could not stand to be away from us until the final battle. He is still recovering, so do not be surprised that he does not seem completely himself.” He takes a breath, coming to the hard part. Despite the pause, he does not visually seem to loose any of his confidence as he goes on. “As you also feel, he has brought with him one of the dream realm. He has brought the Dream Guardian. You know of how he cares, and you know he would not bring something that will harm you.” His eyes shift to Lan and Ran who stand at his sides, their gazes steady. “Master Seishu has, as you know, a strong bond with the other guardian. We have known this since we were children. But now, having spent so long together, that bond has changed, and he cares for Lord Enasi greatly. He wishes the dream lord safe, and so too should you. He has been good to our Master, caring for him when he had little reason to.” His gaze becomes sharp and he locks eyes with several of the more violent denizens before adding, “Master Seishu wishes his safety, and so shall we. He will return to the dream realm and safety once his visit is done. Wish for this, and your heart will settle. Wish for our master's permanent return, and your mind will calm.” Seishu can feel his pride rising as his beloved second speaks. 'He has come a long way. He may have always been a good leader, but comfort has never been his strong suit. It's kinda why the siblings are his right and left hand. That are far more in tune with their feelings, and that of those around them, but Kaila. . .He did well' After giving Kaila's words a chance to settle in Seishu slips from behind the tree and wanders the last few steps into camp so that his underlings can see him. There is a wave of murmurs and quiet joy that ripples through them and with a light peck to Enasi's cheek he hands the guardian off to Kaila and his team while he moves forward to greet the oncoming hoard. Kaila politely takes Enasi's elbow and leads him to the side where Lan, Ran, and Tyar take up positions around him for his own safety. Guarded on the sides and from behind Enasi has a clear view of Seishu, at lease when a minion or nightmare isn't blocking him from view. Kaila stands in front of and off a little to the side of Enasi so he is not in the way of the guardian's observations. Seishu is quickly covered in various nightmare denizens, Filo and Feena dive bombing him along with several other fliers. As per Kaila's words they go easy on him the best they can, but as Seishu tears up when the children scramble in and pile all over him it is clear that he will likely come out of this greeting with several new injuries, though none too severe. A child actually latches on to his shoulder with her fangs and rather than getting upset he snatches he up and gives her a rough hug. She squeals happily at this, her large bat ears flapping as she wriggles around in his arms. A little dream latches on tot he same spot, cleaning it with his tongue until it stops bleeding and begins to heal.
