A Shadow, imo, is more than a few lines. It's stuff you want to hide away from others. Stuff that you might be aware of but don't want to accept on a conscious degree. Especially in public, where the secrets you want to hide are spilled. It's why people deny so much. It takes the willingness to shoulder the consequences that the reveal will bring to truly accept the truth.

Basically, this is a struggle inherent to one's character. Can yours personally face the truth in front of others and be ready to handle the fact that their inner self is now known by the public?
