Levi smiled as Shion would explain that Francis definitely earned his spot as a judge. On that alone, Levi deduced that they had some type of brawl. Knowing Shion, Levi figured it was her usual test she gave men to see if they were even worth her time. Though, based on her later words, it would seem that Shion lost and she owed him a date. Levi’s eyes widened, she gasped. “Oh my, Shion. Francis must have really made you swoon.” She replied dramatically. “You’re the pickiest woman when it comes to women. Hell, you even turned down the former king of Dalmasca cause you saw him, as..” she said, “what was it? A tool for the people? “ Levi laughed as she could clearly see the displeasing look on Shion’s face. “I guess the real question is do you even see this man as one you could mate with.” She said as she placed her hand on her chin as if thinking about it real hard. “I mean, young Michel is only eighteen and he was able to get Meli to be his romantic and sexual partner, and she’s a few years older than him.” She was merely musing aloud, but also talking directly to Shion. “Francis really must’ve made an impression on you, then.” She said, nudging Shion once more with a grin upon her face. ----- When they had made their way to the city, they took an aircab, to which Savayna would order the cabby to drive them to Fine Design, the richest clothing store of all in the Archadian Empire. When the Aircab would take off, the next twenty minutes were filled with talking amongst the girls and soon enough they came to a fancy-like store that had mannequins displayed through the window, wearing some elaborate clothing with designs only for the rich. As they would walk into the store, they were approached by a man of flamboyant nature, body slim and slender. His hair was multi-colored and flowed over one-half of his face. His eyes were of hazel shade. The suit he wore was made of silk and cotton, blue and gold in shade. He noticed Savayna. “Lady Savayna, so glad you could visit again.” He said as he and Savayna exchanged air-kisses. No doubt Emiri and Savayna were in shock. “Klaus, this is Lady Emiri, daughter of Lord Andre and Lady Justine of Rozarria and my dear friend. The other blonde is Princess Nadeline of the Roselia House of Rosarria. “ Savayna said introducing Klaus to Nadeline and Emiri. “I did not know my humble store was housing royalty.” He said placing his head to his forehead as if fainting. “Please, let me show you the royal treatment. If you are dear friends of my best customer, then you must be treated with our finest selection.” Klaus said. Savayna would follow Klaus as he would lead them up a flight of stairs, around some corners, and in a private area of the store reserved for the VIP, they saw quite the collection of clothes. “Let me know if I could be of assistance, dolls.” Klaus said, “Toodles~” He said, femininely waving bye to the ladies as he headed down to the main floor of Fine Design. As the three gals were in the private floor, Savayna smirked. “Well, let’s get to it.” She said as she walked in and began examining the options. ----- Grant took his sweet time to swear an oath of silence to Jaakuna’s request, but eventually he too promised to keep his mouth shut and he would insist Jaakuna didn’t waste any time to tell him and Wesley what he wanted to tell them. Jaakuna sighed and he just would do it. “Okay, before I get to the point, I guess I will first start with the talk that myself and Lady Justine had.” JAakuna said. “When I asked to speak with her, we said some stuff that needed to be said, but after that, she told me about Emiri’s powers, specifically the way she was feeling after she healed my father. Justine told me that Emiri was frozen in time cause of the strain it put on her to heal my father.” Jaakuna revealed to them. “Furthermore, if she continues to use her power, then she will most certainly be frozen in time once again and she might not be able to pull herself out the next time around.” Jaakuna said a she looked down. Wesley was right then. When Nadeline had talked to him about it, he did have his suspicions, but just Jaakuna saying what he just said proved that. “Is that all?” Wesley said as he wanted to hear Jaakuna out. The blonde man looked at both Grant and Wesley and shook his head. “As I said, I just wanted to establish that.” He said, fiddling around his thumbs as he looked down at them. He would then look back up at them with a very serious look upon his face. “My nightmare that I had back in Nabudis, it was the worst thing I could have imagined.” Jaakuna said, “It started with me about to be crowned Emperor and you all were there and my family was there. Right as the crown was about to be placed on my head, I was warped to the moment right before I killed the person that I thought at the time was my father. Vincent and I were sitting in chairs, but when I noticed something off, I saw that my father dead. I looked to my brother, and a dagger was through his heart. I then looked at my hands and blood was all over my hands and clothes. Of course, you both could imagine that I was horrified. However, it only got worse from then on.” Jaakuna said as he noticed his hands trembling. “I looked behind me and saw everyone — Nadeline, you two, Savayna, and my mother — all dead on the floor, blood all over. I pieced that somehow I killed you all.” JAakuna said as it was plainly obvious the torture in his voice as he recalled it. He looked up at his friends. “At this point, I called out for Emiri and as she would walk in through the door and walk over to me, I begged her to revive all of you. She did it of course, but my worst fear came to life. She faded away and she was frozen in time. That’s when every single one of you cornered me in one of the corners of the Emperor’s Office and continued to say it was my fault that she was gone and you all were right. Gods, I knew you were all right and then I heard a voice echo through my head.” Jaakuna then was trembling more. “It was Zodiark. He and I went back and forth of how he was saying that he could help me and all I would have to do was let him in me and take control of my body. I just wanted the pain to go away and well, that’s when I accepted him as my god. He took the pain away, I was finally free.” JAakuna said, “I don’t remember what came after that. The next thing I remembered was Lola-as-Emiri coming to clear me of any darkness, which included Zodiark.” Jaakuna said, “but then…” He hesitated, “he called out to me once more. It was when I was finding out who the real Emiri was of the three. He told me he could help me and all I needed to do was let him insert some of his powers into my body, and that‘s how I knew who the real Emiri was and who the fakes were” Jaakuna said avoiding eye contact with both Grant and Wesley. Wesley was angry, yes, but he wasn’t livid. He couldn’t possibly judge Jaakuna for what happened in his nightmare and again accepting Zodiark’s power. He was more worried for his friend than he was angry at Jaakuna. “I see.” Wesley simply said.
