Alex didnt really the reason why she was so cautious telling him to be quiet. Alex did shut up though. At mention of the leader he then proceeded to dust off his coat and adjust his hat, pulling his gloves downward on his wrist. When she punched the wall he simply expected such behavior. When she had cried he felt a bit awkward and in a way feared having to deal with such things. He did not understand the concept of crying. Emotions are understandable majority of the time but he never felt the need to cry in any situation ever. He did not understand it but it clearly wasnt a pleasant kind of experience. He didnt exactly know how to comfort her but he did the first thing that came to mind. "... Whatever it is I'm going to materialize the image of being hanged, drawn, and quartered as something desirable." Threatening to torture the problem. He did not see his "frightening" appearance but he was confident in his belief that appearances did not mean much. "... We should not leave until the thing that caused this dies..." Alex was actually thinking more about Elsa's tears then the death of the many villagers. "... Do not worry...." He awkwardly placed a hand on her arm trying to calm her. Alex says with a smirk as he proceeded to try and walk outside of the house.
