Felice fell backwards and kept rolling until he was back on his feet. "Of course not, otherwise you would have done it already. I wasn't exactly being smart earlier." Now able to make out a vague figure in the dark, he spun and kicked toward her right side. "Ugh. Survival is easy compared to the rest of that, though. I've always hated having people depend on me.
