Once the banquet started, Victor, still in his armor and in fact not even having considered the thought of switching into something more casual, didn't miss a beat in stuffing his face with various selections of pastries and meat while trying to be as dignified as possible at the same time - managing it quite well, curiously enough. Looking proper and condign was the one thing he pulled off well. In the end he had accepted the elven teacher's request to the banquet - It's not like he had close bonds to anyone in the school that he would hang out with on the regular, spending most of his time learning or training obsessively, and eating with a teacher had to be at least better than eating all alone... even with him not being the most talkative person, it was nice to have somebody around on his last idle day. The young student had grim thoughts concerning the days after that, for sure, especially with his new classes and teachers... but that was something to worry about tomorrow, he thought as he took another piece of pigeon.
