ECHO SQUAD MISSION #0001 DAHAKA AMP STATION, TR CONTROLLED TERRITORY ON INDAR 11:52 A.M. Sarah was meticulously if not anally making sure everything was in place. Every clip, Her sidearm, her Shield Generator and her tool, and every grenade, even the plates of her composite armour were checked for a secure fit. She carried quite a bit of equipment on her person and she did that because no amount of armour or shielding could protect you as well as a well placed bullet. The best way to protect frm enemy fire, is to make sure they couldn't fire in the first place. An odd centiment coming from a lifelong doctor perhaps but she long ago ran out of sympathy for any pleas or mercy for the Oligarch facists calling themselves freedoms fighters or the barbaric and surpisingly mindless jihhadists calling themselves intellectuals. Her tools and grenades were checked and primed. and the Regeneration field was tested. Her movements were far smoother and more controlled than many of the other passangers inside the dropship. But she didn't bother to say anything now. Some of these people were greener than an Amerish meadow and while in years past advice on dodging bullets and instilling the fear of death may actually have been a concern. These days that fear was considerably lessened. Still an unpleasant sensation admittedly, but for good or ill one simply became accustomed to it. As the warning came over the intercom Sarah strapped everything back down to her person and picked her helmet off the floor of the galaxy and quickly sealed it over her head. She felt the reverberating hum through her body as the galaxy hovered over a particular area, and snapped a magazine into her TAR and cocked the action. Jumping down from the ramp Sarah quickly took stock of the area around her. There was some sniper, he was trying hard to intimidate the newer folk but Sarah was unfazed by the attempt. When one had already died several times they realized that there was surprisingly little to find fearful in the world.
