Species: Half-Orc Dwarf

Species description: Slightly taller than a Dwarf but significantly shorter than an Orc. Strong, surprisingly intelligent and agile.

Gender: Male

Noteworthy Abilities / Limitations: Marrubium is a surprisingly skilled archer and proficient with daggers. He's become accustomed to deflecting incoming blows with his bow, striking with his dagger and spinning around to dispatch any other enemies with several well placed arrows. He's taken dwarven skills in smithing and applied them to his weapons, giving them an unrivaled durability and quality, to the point where his bow and arrows are as durable as tempered steel but as light and flexible as wood.
His biggest limitation is due to his size, however. Slightly larger and broader than a dwarf, all armors must be custom made for him, meaning that at this point he only wears leather-type armor.

Background: Marrubium is the bastard child borne of a drunken night involving his blacksmith father and an orc woman. Not wanting such a 'weak' looking child, he was abandoned by his mother and left in the care of his father, who hesitantly raised him. It was quickly discovered that he had the benefits of dwarven and orcish strength, with none of the diminished intelligence the dwarves typically associated with the orcs. That didn't stop him from earning the nickname 'Goblin' though, a name he came to hate.
Unlike most dwarves however, Marrubium wasn't content living in the mountains and working the mines. He preferred the open skies and outdoors, something his father attributed to his orcish heritage and having been born outside the mountains. While Marrubium took a keen interest in his father's blacksmithing, he also began honing his skills as a hunter and a ranger. By the time he had reached adulthood, he began selling his skills as a ranger and occasionally as a thief, traveling from place to place, sleeping under the stars, hunting his meals and carrying plenty of ale and mead.

Appearance: Standing at 5'4", Marrubium is caucasian with long, black hair and beard. He's quite muscular, even by dwarven standards with a jutting brow, upturned nose and two protruding lower canines that extend from his jutting jaw.
