It seems to me the main problem you have is with how powerful Kami is, compared to the baseline spectrum of characters, more specifically, the sheer potential of his power, as opposed to the average power level. If this is, indeed, the case, I'd gladly remove him. As luck would have it, he's in the perfect position to be killed off right now.
