Some of you don't know the difference between a prestidigitater, and a prestigious alligator. Others of us, like myself just sixty years ago, don't know the difference between a Victorian Era industrial invention from a computer that can run an entire interstellar star ship. As you can tell from your dinner plates, every one of us has our own tastes. Some of us like spicy foods, others of like sweet tasting meats. . . you know the drill, different strokes for different folks." 

"Government is not the same, for the most part. Copenhagen's assembled league of allied states know from experience that our governments have their different drawbacks and different flaws, for lack of a better word. Some of us have been far more successful than others. Others of us have not been so lucky, but we all agree on one thing. We do not want our sovereignty violated by either side of this current world conflict, either in the name of Tyranny, which is very obviously wrong, or even genuine freedom of citizens, which is good, to be fair, but not easily recognized when it's enforced unwillingly, which seems very contradictory."

"For this reason and many others, the Copenhagen Conference convenes. We wish, in Copenhagen Coalition member states, to stay out of the strife effecting the countries surrounding us. We therefore are giving every present country the right to speak publicly and privately with each other in diplomatic negotiations."
