Jacque smirked and cracked his neck as Rachel told him to take the lead, "With pleasure mon ami, let's be off. I hope the captain has good insurance." he said with a small chuckle as he began walking in the direction that the surviving pirates had begun running in. As he walked through the abandoned market place, something on one of the tables caught his eye: to his left, on the table lay a cane sword and its sheath, "Oooh, pretty." he said as he gingerly picked up the weapon and examined it. The sword's blade was thin but solid, surprisingly well balanced even with the large handle and as Jacque ran his finger lightly across the edge, he learned it was still razor sharp by the cut that appeared on his finger. Not even stopping to think about it seeing as the vendor had long since ran off in the chaos of the breakout, Jacque sheathed the weapon, tucked it under his arm, and licked away the blood on his finger, 'I'm gonna die of blood loss one of these days. Well, that or from smoking too much.' he mused as he nodded at Rachel and continued towards the ship at a decent pace.
