Getting close to Viral like this was risky right now, particularly with that unorthodox energy. The best bet was to avoid direct contact and keep his distance, at least until that erratic spurting died off. With Ki in each paw the Chieftain clumped both orbs into one, hurling it overhead at the Beastman. Not quite anticipating the counterattack the Narbu got ready to fend off an energy blast, instead shielding his face as the two masses collided, exploding on contact. It was a mixture of heat and pressure, further stripping the area of its natural snow and ice cover. When the blast subsided a decent sized area of about 20 meters in diameter was now stripped to the ground. The sheer temperature of Viral's attacks was stunning, and highly irregular. Just what kind of power was it that he possessed? The scale of their attacks was gradually rising, he realized, and the middle of a settlement was not a place to do this. Frowning the Chieftain looked over at the Beastman, not taking his showing as a sign that he was under duress. "If we are using energy, we must move away from the others. I will not jeopardize my people." This was not their fight, and frankly at this point the Chieftain doubted anyone else could battle Viral and survive. Leaping away from his opponent he moved further out of the town, deeper into the basin to give them more space. This was taking too long, just where were Vegeta and Yumi? There was no telling what the situation with the Narbu was, or how Viral was faring. Or Shu for that matter, he could end up caught in the crossfire. The three of them had to get back to the fight before something really bad happened and someone got hurt, or worse. Tapping his foot impatiently Takeshi looked out the open doors, stepping around the ship as he felt a sudden burst of energy. Damn, they were fighting with Ki now? Just what was Viral doing to force the Chieftain into using energy? Behind him the sound of sliding doors made him turn back, finally spotting his friends. "It's about time! Things are getting really bad out there!" he said, stepping over as he gestured, "Viral's changed again, and he's fighting the natives! You two have to help him!": Being pulled away from T'charrl's lessons was bothersome, they were making some real progress. But the revelation of what was happening justified it, Vegeta quickly forgot his grievances. Looking at Takeshi uncertainly he too felt a small burst in energy, not recognizing the Ki signature as anyone they knew. "How did he change though...?" he mumbled, frowning as he rubbed at his head. "We went through all the drills, he even has his feline form sorted out. Unless... Is he in a different form now?" "Yeah, that big lizard one, the one he turned into the last time we were here." Takeshi replied, frowning. "And he killed people last time we were here!" Yumi interjected, moving towards the open hangar doors, "We've got to go stop him!" Vegeta reached out and grabbed Yumi's arm, shaking his head as she looked back at him. "In the shuttle, we're going to need it to transport him anyways. We're going to need some medical supplies probably, I'm sure there's going to be injuries. And something in the way of clothing for Viral." Takeshi walked back over to the door of the shuttle, opening it up for the others. "I got some medicine and stuff in there already, and there's heavy blankets, better than nothing right?" A very impromptu outing, luckily they were at least prepared. Nodding gratefully, Vegeta went into the ship first, heading immediately for the controls. Not having been used for a little while he had to let the engines come to life, hastily going through a check while he waited for that. Yumi took the co-pilot seat beside him, and Takeshi remained standing in the back, holding onto some netting for support. Soon as the engines had properly fired up Vegeta raised the shuttle up, and with a push of the throttle it lurched forward, darting off out of the hangar. "Which way Takeshi?" "Just head south, it's pretty much straight ahead. In a big canyon, you can't miss it."
