However, something crashed through the ceiling of the warehouse, sending dust and debris in all directions. Once the cloud of dust had settled, an imposing figure dressed in silver and blue towered over the others in the warehouse. “I don’t know what’s going on here, but I think it’s time to take this outside.” Icon said as he landed between the two parties, with Zac and Kelly on one side and their captors on the other. While the “men-in-black” had not expected Icon to appear on the scene, they did have a back-up plan worked out just in case some other meta-humans decided to show up and play “hero”. Therefore, the fire-based “man-in-black” approached Icon and began his carefully planned charade. “Icon, you have to help us!” The fire-based “m-i-b” said, “Earlier this morning my buddies and I were just hanging out when all of the sudden these two savage beasts (*pointing towards Kelly and Zac*) sprung from nowhere and attacked us. The next thing we knew, we were tied up here and dressed up in these para-military clothes so that we might be mistaken as the villains here, when in fact those two really are the bad guys!” Zac clinched his fists, forcing his black claws to project out of his knuckles. “You liar! We’re the ones who were kidnapped and placed in funky costumes.” “See, Icon. That monster over there is already threatening to skewer us like pigs with his claws! His abomination of a partner has already killed one of our friends, Bruno, who know lies dead on the floor after she pumped God knows how much poison from her disgusting barb! Icon, you have to save us!” Kelly stood there motionless, paralyzed with fear. Before her and her boyfriend stood a man who had stopped a falling space station from transforming Lost Haven into a second Ground Zero. Kelly and Zac would be powerless against Icon if he was somehow persuaded into believing their captor’s lies. They were strangers in a huge city, with no ways of proving who they were. “I didn’t...I didn’t” Kelly cried, the only words she could utter while under so much stress, as tears starting to flow from her black eyes. Everything was just happening way to fast.
