Roxy tapped her foot impatiently. She hated school. But school was better then home so she would deal with the boredom. Boredom was better then then pain. She stared at the ceiling as the teacher rambled on about history. She didn't care what happened hundred years ago. She didn't see how knowing that would help her in any way. She need to deal with the here and now. Today's world was a lot different then it had been back then. Sometimes she wished she could have been born in another time.
