A lone Cipher trainer stood guard in the streets of Pyrite, a vivid red blade sheathed at his side. He looked to his watch repeatedly and often, waiting for his shift to be over. It had been a long time since Cipher had begun to take over, so very few people tried to rebel or break free. And even then, most of them were too easy to beat; his leaders decided to send him solo to most of his jobs. "Geez," Faust sighed, contemplating his own situation. He's working for a bunch of murderous criminals whose morals he vehemently disagrees with, but can't just quit because then Agate Village would be put into peril. Based on the strength of the trainers he'd fought so far, a rebellion was probably not going to happen anytime soon, either. Faust looked at his watch; it was almost time for the night shift to come in. As he looked over towards the small shack of a diner, he saw a girl at the side of his vision. He groaned slightly at this, since fighting was generally dull and quick. "Hey, miss!" Faust called out, dropping his hand to the Pokemon at his side. "You gotta get inside, it's almost curfew." To be honest, Faust couldn't care less about whether people actually followed the rules Cipher set out or not. Rather, he didn't want to have to hurt someone. He had little to no hope that someone would be strong enough to beat Cipher, or for that matter, him.
