Now that you've explained it a bit, I think you should rewrite her power section since it doesn't make a lot of sense. What I suggest is going for a more physical path such as using kinetic energy to charge attacks, or give her super system abilities. 

Also, a lightning bolt is not kinetic energy, it is all electrical. A huuuuuge difference between the two.
