The wolf braced itself and lunged straight into his aggressor.
Jade was thrown to the ground,and the beast bit the arm with which she held the weapon.
The struggle was short, the two bodies rolled left and right over the forest floor.
As the wolf's jaws were about to close around the girl's throat, it hesitated.
It held it's position, not moving at all. The forest was silent, as if all held their breath to watch this moment.
Erä clenched his spear.
